But since I haven't found such emulator yet, I will continue to use Nox, as it is a very high-quality software in spite of its issues. If there was an emulator that performed at the same speed as Nox but didn't send as much data or have an iffy default launcher, then I would switch to that one in a heartbeat.
I assume it's for analytics and advertising/tracking purposes, but to put mind at ease, I've found the IP addresses which data is sent to and blocked the communications using my firewall. The second thing is less visible but I still feel it's important that I bring this to attention: Nox sends a large amount of usage data to third parties based in China. Unfortunately the Nox launcher is very stubborn and can't be removed, so I've had enable root startup, install a third-party launcher, and rename the Nox launcher file to stop it from starting up. When you get rid of one, another takes its place. The first thing is that Nox's default launcher is buggy and always displays ads that look like icons for unwanted apps. Luckily they can be prevented, but it does take some time to put the measures in place to solve these issues. However, there are a couple of issues I have with the software that do bring my rating down, unfortunately. It runs my apps successfully and without lag, and it's lightweight and doesn't slow down system performance as you're using it. So far, Nox App Player is the highest quality Android emulator I've used.
